I am selling this for a friend that has been storing it on my property. This car was a 340 four speed from the factory, the original engine and trans are gone. Included is a 1972 340 block, crankshaft, 915 J heads, 340 bellhousing, and a 1965 A833 four speed transmission from a barracuda. Included is a driveshaft that can be shortened to use this trans in the Duster as well as a core non numbers correct radiator. The car was raced most of its life in central California. It was made into a drag car in approximately 1977 and raced until the late 1980’s. The car is gutted with no dash, luckily the builder had the insite to attach the vin plate to the inner fender well for licensing purposes. There is a 1977 California title, vin plate, door vin sticker, and core support and trunk numbers, there is no fender tag. The car was a factory Sassy Grass green as can be seen in the pictures. It has boxed spring hangers and the 340-only washer still on the K frame. The factory disc brakes are still on it and there is an 8 3/4 rear end in the car. The clutch pedal portion of the assembly was removed but the 4 speed brake pedal remains. The cars rear outside inner fenderwells were opened up for slicks. The hood and decklid are in need of replacement due to rodents nests in them that ate holes. The car has some rust, but lots of it is just scale rust. He was able to obtain bits and pieces of its history through the internet but has no film footage of its race days. It was found stored in a garage in Portland, Oregon where it had been for several years since being purchased in the Bakersfield area. The car appeared briefly in an episode of the internet show Roadkill. The cars rolls and steers. It goes as pictured except he is keeping the hood scoop for another project. $3,950.00 If you don’t want the engine, trans, and bellhousing the car is 2800.00 cash. Located near Portland, Oregon.
